It's time to catch up, reminisce, and explore how the world has evolved since our last engaging conversations. Kristin Brown, Principal, Northstar Project & Real Estate Services

Kirstin Brown is a seasoned professional with 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, the last 25 of which as a development project manager on complex real estate and advisory projects for clients such as BioMed Realty Trust, American Campus Communities, and AEW Capital Management. 

She is currently a principal at Northstar Project & Real Estate Services, a privately held firm that focuses solely on real estate development, project management and advisory services.  Her responsibilities on the management team include leading marketing and business development efforts, generating new business, and managing and executing a portfolio of work.  Prior to joining Northstar, Kirstin was a Vice President in the Project Development Services group at JLL (formerly Spaulding & Slye Colliers).  She holds a Master’s degree from MIT’s Center for Real Estate, and a Bachelor’s degree from the Boston University Questrom School of Management.

Kirstin served on the United Way’s Real Estate & Building Industry Breakfast Committee as a Member from 2010 to 2016 and Vice Chair of the Executive Committee from 2016 to 2018. Kirstin and Northstar have supported her client, The Home for Little Wanderers since 2010, and Kirstin served on their Voices and Visions Event Committee, their largest fundraising event of the year, in 2018 and 2019. She currently is on Heading Home’s Housewarming Committee to support their largest fundraising event. Kirstin is a member of CoreNet Global and served on their Board of Directors from 2018 to 2023. She was recognized as CREW Boston’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2015 and Boston Real Estate Times Outstanding Women of Commercial Real Estate in 2023. 

Elizabeth Bahnuk, AIA, LEED AP, Director, Planning Design & Construction at Tufts Medical Center, Tufts Medical Center

Elizabeth Bahnuk, AIA, LEED AP, is the Director of Planning, Design and Construction for Tufts Medical Center, part of Tufts Medicine. In this role, she provides strategic space planning for inpatient and ambulatory areas and oversees all construction activities for Tufts Medical Center and Tufts Medicine.  In addition to planning and construction, she manages accessibility compliance, moves, and wayfinding.

Andy Reinach, Senior Vice President of Real Estate Development and Construction, Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc.

Andy works for Alexandria Real Estate Equities as a Senior Vice President of Real Estate Development and Construction. Alexandria focuses on life science facilities for companies pursuing R&D and manufacturing for therapies and drugs to improve the human condition. Prior to Alexandria, Andy worked at Lyme Properties, O’Neil Properties, The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, and Baker Concrete Construction. He feels fortunate to have the opportunity to work in different industry sectors in many regions of the country being able to experience the different cultures, landscapes, food, dialects, and climates, all without needing a passport. In his free time, Andy tries to relax and have fun with various pursuits.
