Join Kara McLellan for an intimate conversation exploring leadership and brand transition in times of change.  Kara will share how she navigated these changes at Annum and offer insights to fellow senior leaders facing similar inflection points. After a brief presentation, we will open up the call for a dialogue on challenges and best practices from those participating in the call, so be prepared to chat - or listen in on challenges from other firms.

About the Speaker

Kara McLellan
Director of Marketing & Communications

Kara joined Annum Architects, a 45-person Boston-based design firm, in 2022 as Director of Marketing & Communications. In 2023, she and the team at Annum, in collaboration with brand consultants Greenspace and Daniel Vogelzang, were honored to win two SMPS Boston Communication Awards for the firm’s new website and rebrand from Ann Beha Architects. 

Kara’s career in marketing and business development has focused on a variety of professional services engaging with the built and planned environment, including architecture, engineering, urban planning, and real estate development. She has been involved with SMPS Boston since 2010, previously serving as co-chair for the Membership Committee. Kara received her Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from UMass Amherst Isenberg School of Management.
