Your projects don't just change skylines — they spark investment, create jobs, and make communities better. So why aren't you getting more media coverage or public recognition? Great projects deserve great PR , but making sure your firm gets the spotlight takes strategy, teamwork, and the right asks.
In this session, learn how to turn your project partners (developers, contractors, engineers, architects, and more) into PR and business development allies. We'll discuss how to:
- Get elected officials and public stakeholders excited (and involved) in your work
- Craft pitches that tap into media hot buttons like economic growth and sustainability
- Position your firm to own the narrative on high-impact projects — even when you're one of many partners
Plus: You'll leave with real-world examples and ready-to-use strategies to bring back to your firm.

Event Speaker

Jeff Lavery
Pedigree Public Relations Founder Jeff Lavery cut his teeth as a reporter for a Gannett daily in New York covering the business beat before working for similar publications in Massachusetts. After going through the proverbial meat grinder as Consigli Construction Co. Inc.'s first-ever intranet communications specialist (yes, intranet), he took on increasingly larger roles in B2B and B2C tech agencies before managing the PR operations for the largest privately-owned broadband company’s eastern region operations. Today, Pedigree PR works with general contractors, construction managers, restoration specialists, commercial real estate firms, and numerous other companies in the A/E/C space to execute their PR, marketing communications, and government relations goals.
This event is worth 1 CEU.
