Adam Baacke – Commissioner of the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management & Maintenance (DCAMM)

Governor Healey appointed Adam Baacke to serve as Commissioner of the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in August 2023. He brings more than twenty-five years of experience with planning, design, capital project management, real estate, community development, and public administration, most recently serving as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Campus Development at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.  

During his nearly ten-year tenure at UMass Lowell, he led the team responsible for all aspects of campus planning, real estate, and capital project delivery during a period of dramatic physical campus expansion, increased enrollment, and research growth as the institution emerged as one of New England’s leading comprehensive public research universities.

Before joining the UMass Lowell administration, Baacke spent fourteen years at the City of Lowell, including serving as Assistant City Manager and Director of Planning and Development. He championed award-winning initiatives in master planning, land-use regulation, development review, urban revitalization, and cultural development, many of which became statewide models for Gateway City renewal.

He earned a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a master’s from UMass Boston’s McCormack Institute.

Michael Bogdan – President & CEO, Avail Project Management

Under Mike’s guidance Avail PM has successfully completed projects ranging from top-tier corporate projects internationally as well as in the Boston area. Prior to founding Avail PM, Mike spent over five years as a Senior Project Manager and Team leader for a top-tier OPM firm in Boston where he developed strong relationships with local market resources. He was also an Estimator and Project Manager for an award-winning construction management firm where he managed some of the company’s largest projects.

Mike started his career with Shawmut Design & Construction, building Apple retail stores around the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology and has completed OSHA's 30-hour Construction Certification training. 

Mike is a member of the Commercial Brokers Association, Cornet, and Middlesex 3 Coalition, among other industry organizations.

Ji-Hye Ham Angel, AIA – Senior Capital Projects Manager, Northeastern University

Ji-Hye Ham Angel is a Senior Capital Projects Manager at Northeastern University Planning, Real Estate, and Facilities where she is responsible for the management of capital projects including large, complex projects for research and teaching laboratories, student housing, classrooms, offices as well as specialized construction. She managed the launch and first two years of capital program at Northeastern University’s Oakland Campus – an unprecedented merger with Mills College in 2022. Currently she is overseeing the Innovation Campus portfolio at Burlington, Massachusetts and managing the 262 St. Botolph Street Multipurpose Athletic Facility project in Boston.

Prior to joining Northeastern University, Ji-Hye was at Ann Beha Architects and Robert A.M. Stern Architects where she worked on higher education projects including Harvard Divinity School Swartz Hall, Yale University Humanities Quadrangle, Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Rutgers University Campus Master Plan, and Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University.

Ji-Hye is a registered architect in Massachusetts and New York, and holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Rebecca Tomasovic – Director of Real Estate, The City of Boston

Rebecca Tomasovic is the Director of Real Estate for the Planning Department at the City of Boston. She oversees a real estate portfolio of over 13 million square feet across Boston with the goal of maximizing public benefit generated from public land. This involves managing properties such as the Charlestown Navy Yard and the Raymond L. Flynn Marine Industrial Park and strategic property dispositions. Prior to her time at the Planning Department, Rebecca was a transportation engineer in Boston working on traffic analysis and roadway design projects for the public and private sectors. She has a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, and studied civil engineering at Northeastern University.
