The 2022 Awards Gala - Cheers to 40 Years!

The SMPS Boston class of 2022 came out to party on June 8^th at the Boston Harbor Hotel. More than 100 SMPS members and other AEC professionals attended the Awards Gala. Everyone was so glad that after a two-year hiatus we were able to raise a glass together, in-person, to celebrate SMPS Boston’s 40 year milestone. The Special Events Committee hosted an amazing event with dessert buffet, an espresso martini bar, and spectacular views of the Boston Harbor! No expense was spared to acknowledge this monumental milestone. Led by Director of Special Events, Lindsay Accardi of SmithGroup, and supported by Co-Chair, Brittany Sampson of New England Lab and five committee members, Britt-Anya Bursall, of Tigh & Bond, Kelly Cohane, Emily Jenkins of BR+A , Brittany Partridge of HMMH, and Jennifer Tulipani of CMTA, the first in-person gala in two years was a reunion to be remembered.

The annual awards gala celebrates the marketing accomplishments of Boston area firms and individuals who represent the trailblazers and innovators of our industry. This year SMPS Boston recognized local AEC firms in the categories of Brand Awareness Campaign, Corporate Identity, Holiday Piece, Internal Communications, Social Media, Special Event Marketing, Video, Website, and Employer of the Year. The chapter also recognized the Volunteer of the Year, and the Marketing Professional of the Year.
