Favorite Five SMPS Events for Networking with AEC Professionals

These five events are opportunities to create meaningful connections, gain insights, and maybe have a bit of fun along the way. So, mark your calendar and get ready to network, learn, and enjoy the unique experiences that SMPS Boston has to offer!

1. Holiday Party - Start off the Year with a Celebration!

One of my favorite SMPS Boston events, which is typically held in January – after all the holiday craziness has died down. This event is just pure FUN, a celebration. It’s a fantastic opportunity to expand your network and hey, who doesn't love a good reason to celebrate?

2. P2PC - Where Ideas Happen

Next up is Peer to Peer Coaching (P2PC) which is an informative event where folks share ideas and different perspectives on relevant topics and issues facing AEC professionals. Some might argue that virtual events lack the engagement of in-person gatherings, but I think P2PC is an exception. It's like a brainstorming session on steroids – an opportunity to dive into the nitty-gritty of our industry, exchanging ideas and perspectives.

3. Marketing Bootcamp - An Immersive Experience

Marketing Bootcamp is an intensive all-day program with dynamic speakers and stimulating discussions (kind of like a mini-conference). While sharing a table with about six to eight other individuals, you're not just learning from the speakers and panelists. You're building connections and sharing your thoughts with each other between sessions and over lunch.

4. Awards Gala - Mingle with Boston’s Top AEC Marketers

The Awards Gala isn't your average networking event – it's a social affair where you can rub elbows with the most talented marketers in the Boston AEC scene. Imagine yourself at the bar, sipping on your drink of choice, and engaging in conversations with your peers and award-winning professionals. It's not just an awards night; it's an opportunity to elevate your network.

5. Summer Social - Casual Connections

Last but certainly not least, we have the Summer Social. This informal gathering is usually held outside on a patio, where folks are drinking, eating apps, and chatting each other up. Whether you're catching up with old friends or making new ones, the Summer Social is the perfect blend of fun and relationship-building!
