SMPS 2024 Awards Gala: Best and Brightest

Pink just looks so good on us! 

The 2024 SMPS Boston Best & Brightest Awards Gala did not disappoint. Thank you to the SMPS Boston community for coming out as we celebrated the best and brightest in the industry and wore our best and brightest attire – including Barbie inspired pink.  

The event was kicked off by Boston based Berklee College of Music Band, Josh & the Wittness and our signature cocktail.  Additionally, our membership committee hosted a “swag” table that gifted SMPS Boston branded merch to members to commemorate their years of dedication to SMPS.

The awards ceremony was emceed by local comedian Caroline Cooke of Bright Humor who added some comic relief and perspective to the deadline-driven life of AEC marketers.

Awards were presented to the follow companies:

For Corporate Identity, the second-place award was given to Goody Clancy and the first-place award was given to Wise Construction.
For DEI Communication, the first-place award went to Tighe & Bond.
For Holiday Piece, the first-place award went to Hacin
For Internal Communications, the first-place award went to CDM Smith. 
For Marketing Collateral, the second-place award was given to Hacin and the first-place award was given to GPI
For Promotional Campaign, second-place was awarded to Wise Construction and first-place was awarded to SGH
For Recruitment & Retention, first-place went to Tighe & Bond. 
For Social Media, second-place was awarded to Page, and first-place was awarded to Finegold Alexander. 
For Special Event Marketing, first-place went to Timberline Construction. 
For Sustainability, second-place was awarded to Finegold Alexander and first-place was awarded to HGA
For Video, first place went to CDM Smith. 
For Website, second-place was awarded to Gale Associates and first-place was awarded to Goody Clancy. 

The most Innovative Firm of Year went to HLB Lighting
The Best in House Design went to Tighe & Bond
The Best in Show Small Firm award went to Finegold Alexander
The Best in Show overall award went to Goody Clancy
And the People’s Choice award went to Wise Construction. 

And for the Professional Achievement Awards:

Mary Hamilton of VHB was honored as the New Member of the Year.
Katherine Lesko of Chapman Construction/Design was honored as the Emerging Professional of the Year.
Kristie Norris,of HGA, was honored as the Chapter Leader of the Year.
Alexa Prenovitz of Arcadis DPS Group was honored as the Volunteer of the Year.
Lateffa Curry of SLAM Collaborative was honored as the Business Development Professional of the Year.
Pia Cardinali of Arcadis DPS Group was honored as Marketing Professional of the Year.
